Yes, when the workspace has the Customer Action Hub capability and the action is configured for that document. Payment status changes only after server-side confirmation from the configured provider.

The feature page shows the current Business Packs linked to this capability in the database. Availability also depends on the active workspace entitlement and user permissions.
